Wimmera Health Care Group Grampians Sub Hub Vaccine Rollout Coordinator Genevieve Lilley said that the Wimmera's vaccine rollout was remaining steady, with the greatest challenge being supply.
"The main thing at the moment for us is access. Our main requirement at the moment is for Pfizer. We're still a bit constrained in our access," she said.
"It does vary with fairly late notice. We had a couple of hundred doses allocated for next week, and we've just found out we can have a few extra. It's just a matter of organising the nurses, admin staff and bookings."
Horsham's Lister House is administering around 400 doses a week according to Ms Lilley.
"They're doing an amazing job. We're doing what we can, we're on a recruiting drive for nurses at the moment."
"We've received grants from the state government to train up nurses in immunization courses, and that covers not just Horsham but all our region; West Wimmera Health, Rural Northwest Health and Edenhope."
EARLIER: VACCINATION rates in the Wimmera remain on par with much of the nation as the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination program continues.
New data released by the Federal government this week shows that only 19.2 per cent of people aged 15 and over in the Northwest region are fully vaccinated.
In comparison, both the Bendigo and Geelong regions have over 25 per cent of people aged 15 and over fully vaccinated, while six other areas have over 20 per cent.
However, 45.7 per cent have received at least one dose, ahead of parts of Melbourne and roughly comparable with Shepparton (46 per cent), Ballarat (48.1 per cent) and the Latrobe Valley in Gippsland (48.8 per cent).

Bendigo and Geelong are again Victoria's leading regions in this regard, tracking 52.6 per cent and 51.4 per cent, respectively.
Meanwhile, just 34.7 per cent of residents in Melbourne's inner northwest have received their first dose.
The data comes from a report released on Monday by the Federal Department of Health and lists the percentage of people aged 15 and over who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 by state and territory.
Victoria remains among the states leading the way with its vaccine rollout, having delivered 1,681,082 doses, ahead of the next highest in New South Wales, 1,535,018 and Queensland 932,380.
Victorian Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said the data showed that Victoria was progressing well in its vaccination rollout.
"There are some local government areas north of Melbourne that are doing better than a whole bunch of LGAs across Australia," he said.
MORE NEWS:
"In relative terms, we are doing very well."
Data from each state is broken down into statistical areas, with Northwest Victoria covering from as far south as the Grampians and Ararat to the Mallee and Mildura in the north.
According to the Federal government, the areas are required to have large, cumulative populations of over 100,000 people and are based around labour markets.
