It's finals time in the Horsham District Football Netball League and there are quality games scheduled for the elimination finals in both football and netball.
In the football, third-placed Harrow-Balmoral goes head-to-head with sixth-placed Natimuk United.
After a slow start to the season, the Roos are finally starting to hit their stride and rediscover the form that saw them crowned the 2019 premiers. The side hasn't lost since May and with a lineup that includes James Staude, Michael Close and Nick Pekin, they aren't short on big-game experience.
The Rams are in solid form too and are on a three-game winning streak, but will need to go to another level to snatch the victory.
Rams' forward Nathan Koenig has had a terrific season in front of the sticks with 45 goals and if his midfield group can provide the service, he will be a handful for the Roos' defenders.
The sides have met once already this season, in round five when the Roos won by 73 points.
In the other match, Kalkee does battle with Jeparit-Rainbow, with both sides hard on paper.
The last time the two teams played each other (round two) the Kees got up by 17 points, but that was too long ago.
The Kees will likely go in feeling more confident after their huge win against Laharum in round 12, while the Storm had a morale-crushing loss to Harrow-Balmoral. The Kees also have the experienced Stuart Farr at the helm.
For the Storm, recruit Jay Kirwood has starred for most of the year with 38 goals, meaning the Kees' defenders will have to watch him closely.
This match looms as a tough contest that could go either way.
Over in the netball, Harrow-Balmoral faces the Swifts. The third-placed Roos have only lost two games for the season and go in favourites after their 25-point win over the Swifts in round 11.
The Swifts defence will need to be on their game against Kirby Knight who is coming off 55 goals against Jeparit-Rainbow last round.
Similarly, the Roos will have to be wary of Michaela Armer, who has had a superb season for the Swifts in goals.
In the second elimination final, Kaniva-Leeor United plays Jeparit-Rainbow.
The Cougars have been impressive in their first season in the HDFNL, but can't rest on their laurels when they play the Storm, who will be aiming to bounce back from their tough loss to Harrow-Balmoral in round 12.
The last time the sides met was in round six, where the Cougars had a convincing 21-point win.
Still, a side (the Storm) with Wimmera netball legend Penny Fisher on its list is always in with a chance.
