The Round 6 winner of the Spirit of Football award for 2021 Wimmera Football Netball League season Warrack Eagles U/17 footballer Josiah Keam. The award was presented at a later home game because of Covid lockdowns.
Josiah has come through the junior ranks and is now in his top age year of U/17s football with the Warrack Eagles.
He has developed into a very well-balanced footballer who is capable of playing in any area of the field, as he is naturally very fit and athletic, with good skills and plenty of pace.
This year he has been a key leader of his side and he is very well respected by all his team-mates and opponents.
It's been a big season for Josiah, often backing up and playing two games on the one day. He made his senior debut this year and has adjusted to the level of senior footy quite well.
We look forward to seeing Josiah develop further in the future and we wish him all the best. Well done Josiah!
Amber O'Connor

Amber is a quietly spoken, focused, passionate team member in the Warrack Eagles U/17's side. She is a very much respected and valued member of our team on and off the court.
Amber has been our goal shooter and settled nicely into the season. Playing a major role in the goal ring and keeping a steady head while getting the job done with minimal fuss.
She has a great ability to read the play well and works hard to make the most of any chances she is given.
Her attitude towards the game, her team mates and opposition is the exact reason she received the Spirit of Netball award for round 6. Congratulations Amber from your club, the Warrack Eagles!
