A PERSON who visited East Wimmera Health Service's St Arnaud hospital campus has tested positive to COVID-19.

In a post on social media, the health service confirmed the person attended the hospital on Tuesday.
"EWHS wish to advise the community that an unwell patient presented to St Arnaud campus on Tuesday evening and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19," the post said.
"The person is now in isolation and EWHS is currently testing staff who were in contact with the patient."
"Services at the St Arnaud Campus will be interrupted as a result."

The post continued and said people seeking to use the urgent care service should instead visit another EWHS campus, the closest being Donald.
"All outpatient services will be affected and patients should call first to be advised of alternative arrangements," they said.
"Residents of the St Arnaud district should monitor for symptoms and if symptomatic, please isolate immediately, arrange a test and remain isolated until further notice."
