Attractive young stars and plenty of screams and blood, suggest it will.
The Green Knight (October 22): The epic fantasy film explores the Camelot legend from a new perspective by telling the tale of King Arthur's nephew Sir Gawain, played by Dev Patel (Lion). Gawain embarks on a daring quest to confront the Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men.

Academy and Emmy Award-nominated writer/producer/director Simon Kinberg (Deadpool, The Martian) is at the helm, so he might be able to breathe some originality into the overdone genre.
Finch (November 5): After a cataclysmic solar event leaves Earth a wasteland a surviving engineer Finch (Tom Hanks) builds his own world alone with his dog and robot. Finch promises a feel-good movie mixed with enough sci-fi action to keep things interesting.

The Sex Lives Of College Girls (November 18): The provocative title alone should guarantee attention for this comedy series about four college roommates at New England's prestigious Essex College. It's created by Emmy-nominated writer/producer Mindy Kaling (The Office) and Justin Noble (Brooklyn Nine-Nine).
DISNEY+
Dopesick (November 12): This pertinent eight-part series tells the story of America's struggle with opioid addiction, from the boardrooms of a big pharmaceutical company to a mining community to the hallways of the DEA. The Beatles: Get Back (November 25-27): Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson's revisiting of the Fab Four's ill-fated Let It Be sessions promises to be essential viewing for music fans. NETFLIX
Red Notice (November 12): This movie couldn't be anything but massive. The star power of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot is dazzling enough alone, but together they'll ensure Red Notice is one of 2021's biggest action-comedy films. Johnson is an Interpol agent tasked with tracking down a seductive art thief (Gadot) with the help of an ex-con (Reynolds).
Tiger King 2 (release date TBA): One of the most streamed shows in history returns. Ex-zoo keeper Joe Exotic is in prison serving 22 years for attempting to hire someone to murder rival Carol Baskin, so it's unknown what the series will cover. Baskin has also refused to take part, describing Tiger King as a "reality show dumpster fire".
PARAMOUNT+
Guilty Party (October 15): Kate Beckinsale is a discredited journalist desperate to salvage her career by covering the story of a young mother, who is imprisoned for murdering her husband, a crime she claims she didn't commit. Don't let the heavy synopsis fool you, Guilty Party is light and comedic.
STAN
One Of Us Is Lying (October 8): Fans of 13 Reasons Why should love this high school drama mystery about a student who dies in detention, leading to four friends becoming suspects in his murder. Of course nothing is as simple as that.
