Eight Horsham under-14s basketballers were selected to attend the Golden Nugget Camp, a solid reflection of the region's development programs.

The camps provide for advanced individual and team skill development.
The athletes were selected from this year's Under-14 Academy Program. Those who impress at the camps will be picked for the 2022 Country Metro challenge.
More than 250 athletes were invited to attend the camps, which will be held at Bendigo Stadium on November 13 (boys) and November 14 (girls).
Horsham Amateur Basketball Association president Jon Fitzgerald was thrilled for the Horsham Athletes selected.
"It's fantastic," Fitzgerald said.
"We're super happy and super proud for those kids to get that opportunity to head along to the Gold Nugget Camps.
"It's pretty awesome to have a little Horsham representation, and we're really happy for them.
"Probably the coolest thing is that a lot of these Basketball Victoria events have been postponed or cancelled, but it kinda feels like we're getting there (back to normal) with these sorts of events happening."
Fitzgerald is confident that the athletes will do the Association proud.
As long as they enjoy that journey because we've had plenty of things cancelled and postponed in the last couple of years," he said.
"It's really the start of their basketball journey on that pathway which is pretty exciting.
"And even for them to go on and experience it. We're talking about having some of the state's best coaches all showing them the latest in basketball development."
The dates for the Camps are reliant on COVID-19 restrictions across Victoria being eased by November 8.
Numerous NBA and NBL stars began their representative journey in the Gold Nugget Camp, including 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers champion and recent Melbourne United signing Matthew Dellavedova.
