Aboard the Ciaran Maher and David Eustace-trained Persan, Meech led early-on in the Caulfield feature before finishing behind the Graham Begg-trained Nonconformist in second and the Peter Moody-trained Incentivise in first.
Adding to the Stawell flavour was Incentivise's jockey Brett Prebble, who did his apprenticeship in the area.
Although Saturday's ride was Meech's first in the Caulfield Cup, she has recorded an impressive five wins at the track since August 28 alone.
Incredibly, less than 24 hours after the Caulfield Cup, Meech was in Horsham for its marquee event.
Unfortunately she wasn't able to snare her second Horsham Cup win, but came mighty close onboard Think We're Due, finishing just behind the Paul Preusker-trained Orleans Rock.
Meech continued her good from on Tuesday at Hamilton where she secured wins on the Maher and Eustace-trained Petani in race one and Coralee in race four.
Horsham hoop Dean Yendall also completed the Caulfield-Horsham double at the weekend.
He finished 18th in the Group One race on Charms Star and sixth in the Horsham Cup riding Fabalot.
Yendall also rode at Hamilton on Tuesday, picking up a win aboard the Symon Wilde-trained Pristine Image in race five.
