IN OTHER NEWS:
There has been Take a Break Childcare in Murtoa on a Friday which a large number of families use and that has a waiting list.
Unfortunately, in 2022 it will be unable to host it at the kinder due to high three and four-year old kinder enrolments requiring a five-day a week program.
"We really need to find a new home for that if we can as it's a crucial," Ms Holmes said.
"We are working on and very keen to have a childcare centre up and running in Murtoa by the start of 2023.
"We have worked closely with Rupanyup and are looking at an in venue family day care operator through Uniting Care starting up in early 2022 at the former council office in Cromie Street with works taking place there to ensure it can be used for that purpose."
