It will be Hier's third year leading the A Graders after being appointed ahead of the 2020 season.
A couple of months after the 2021 Wimmera Football Netball League season final series was abandoned, Hier was out marshalling her troops on Thursday night for their first preseason session.

"The footy's starting tonight so we figured that we might as well join in," Hier said.
"We're trying to be a unit, the footy and netball club, so we're all pretty close and it's important that we all start together."
Hier was pleased to continue her role as a dual coach, which "keeps her very busy".
"It's good for me because I like to rotate my players and I just think it's really important that anyone gets the opportunity to play A Grade if they're performing well in B Grade," she said.
"If they're training with the A Grade it only improves the B Grade."
It's only early days, but the Demons coach is happy with the way her sides are taking shape.
"At this stage, I've spoken to a few girls and they've committed to coming to training which is fantastic," she said.
"We will probably retain most of this year's side in A grade, but in B Grade. Everyone is staying on, which is wonderful.
"We'll have a couple of girls come up from the under 17s too."
Despite the up-and-down nature of the past two years, Hier has taken some positives from the coaching experience.
MORE NEWS:
"It's probably made me more aware of how people are coping with everything," she said.
"It's probably brought me a lot closer to the girls as well, even though we weren't seeing each other face-to-face.
"I was nearly speaking to someone every day. Certainly with social media now it can keep everyone on track and altogether."
Before the finals series was abandoned, the Demons finished the regular season comfortably in second spot, just behind the first-placed Southern Mallee Giants.
