Emergency services are battling a grassfire near the Wimmera Hwy at Edenhope.

The grassfire is not yet under control and is located near Mulraney's Road and is travelling south westerly towards Arnolds State Forest.
According to VicEmergency 19 vehicles are on scene to tackle the blaze.
The Wimmera Highway is closed between Ullswater-Mortat Road and Goroke-Harrow Road.
A Watch and Act alert has been issued for Charam, Edenhope, Karnak, Ozenkadnook and Ullswater.
The CFA advises those affected are advised to stay close to a building where they can shelter as it is the safest option, with the possibility conditions may change suddenly.

- Emergency services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.
