The Schultz brothers have been an integral part of the club's success during the past four years, but will leave the club after tomorrow's match to join Wimmera Football League club Warrack Eagles as joint coaches.
Both are hoping to end this chapter of their football career with another premiership tomorrow.
Steve played reserves and senior football with Kalkee in the early 2000s, before moving to Geelong.
He returned to the club as joint coach of the Kees senior side from 2007-09, before stepping down from the role this season.
He has won the past three Dellar Family Medals and twice been named in the All-Australian side after representing Vic Country at national championships while playing at Kalkee.
Younger brother Grant, who played junior football at the club, also returned with him in 2007, and coached the Kees under-17 football side in 2008 and 2009.
He has also been selected to represent Vic Country twice during this time, capping off his best season to date with a runner-up finish in the Dellar Family Medal count on Monday night.
Steve said although he was leaving the club next season, he didn't believe tomorrow would be his last game in a Kalkee jumper.
"It's probably not going to be my last game for the club," he said.
"To be honest it doesn't even feel like we are doing anything different yet.
"That has been the furthest thing from my mind this week."
Schultz played in senior grand finals with the Kees in 2000-01 and is playing his fourth consecutive grand final tomorrow.
"I've been lucky enough to play in a grand final in every year of senior football with the club," he said.
"You can never get sick of it."
He said winning a premiership tomorrow would mean the world to him.
"I just love my football," he said.
"I love playing it, thinking about it and talking about it.
"I'm pretty driven to win, because I know what it is like to win and I know what it is like to lose.
"Winning is a much better feeling."
Grant, who is captain of the side this season, said it was a tough decision to move into the Wimmera Football League next year.
"I'll miss playing with a lot of the guys that I've been playing with since juniors, but I'm looking forward to playing with a new group at the same time," he said.
"We'll probably go back to Kalkee at some stage though."
He said a premiership would be the perfect note to leave on.
