After a shock loss to Edenhope-Apsley last week, the Rams will no doubt be looking to bounce back against an undefeated Harrow-Balmoral side.
“They have a few unknowns and on their home deck it will always be a tough game,” Pekin said.
“They would want to rebound and try and get on the winner’s list, so we have to be expecting a physical contest, and we will have to be up for that.”
Natimuk United playing coach Sam Anson and forward Jaydon Stiles, two of the Rams’ game changers, both missed last week due to injury.
Anson said he had a full squad to choose from for this week.
“Myself and Stiles will both be back in, so we have a full squad,” he said. “It’s a huge game and a huge opportunity. The loss was the perfect thing for us. We needed that wake up call to realise where we are at and what we need to improve on.”
Harrow-Balmoral is currently enjoying a good run with injuries and fitness, with Pekin having a large squad to choose from.
“We won’t need to change too much from last week, and we have three blokes ready to come back in, which will make selection hard,” he said.
“We are really looking forward to the contest and trying to keep working on the things we can control, in terms of our skill, execution and delivery going forward.”
