The three-week exam period started on October 31. Students who studied a language subject will have finish off the exam period this afternoon.
St Brigid’s College school captain Mia Panozzo is one of the students completing the Italian exam this afternoon. She said her exams were stretched out longer than usual because her oral exams were scheduled before the three-week period.
“I have had plenty of time to prepare for each exam with about 10 days between each,” she said.
“To be honest, I am more of a crammer and either way I would have been prepared because I know I had the ability to do that.”
Mia said she wanted to studied psychology and continue Italian next year with the hopes of picking up another language. She said she was not concerned about her final results.
“I have all done the work through the year, so I am not worried because that has to count for something,” she said.
Vice-captain Tayla Nagorcka said she found the exam period stress-free until the days leading up to her exams.
“It was too stressful until the days of my exams. They were all close together so the last few I was a bit rundown,” she said. “But, I have worked hard all year and I hope that pays off.”
Tayla hopes to study medicine at Monash University.
The year 12 students will now wait for their VCE and ATAR result to be released on December 14 via the internet or mobile app.
