
Update, 11.15am Friday: The latest trailer for the new season of Farmer Wants a Wife released in March shows five farmers, with Harrow farmer Jack Beaton noticeably absent amongst the men vying for love.
He also hasn't appeared in any posts on the show's Facebook page since January .
The Mail-Times has contacted Network Seven for comment.
Earlier: Those eagerly anticipating seeing Harrow farmer Jack Beaton's search for love on Reality TV will be disappointed with the premiere of Farmer Wants a Wife delayed by months.
The program, now in it's tenth season, was scheduled to air on April 7 but a Seven media spokeswoman said the release has now been pushed back.
In December last year Network Seven revealed the 27-year-old merino wool farmer and AFL utility would be one of six men hoping to find a life-long partner on the series.
At the time of the announcement Harrow-Balmoral coach Nick Pekin said he was excited to see one of his recruits on the show.
Now there is an unknown delay on both the show and the football season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
West Wimmera Shire Council CEO David Leahy had welcomed the news earlier saying it was a great opportunity to showcase their municipality and the agriculture industry.
