Mt Zero (Mura Mura) Picnic Area, Grampians National Park
The Mount Zero Picnic area offers a picturesque backdrop and is the key access point to reach the peaks of Mount Zero and Mount Stapylton. The peaceful picnic spot has some of the best views the Northern Grampians has to offer.

Horsham Botanic Gardens
The botanic gardens lush green lawns and rose beds make it the ideal place for a tea party picnic. The tranquil gardens have a playground, large snakes and ladders and floral displays beside the Wimmera River. There is also a variety of barbecue facilities, seating and picnic tables.
Cato Park, Stawell
Cato Park is located right in the heart of Stawell and surrounds Cato Lake. The park has a children's playground and plenty of open space to sit and enjoy a family picnic. Enjoy the walking trails around the lake and admire the ducks and black swans.
Zumsteins Picnic Area
Zumsteins Picnic Area is located on the banks of the MacKenzie River and is the site of an historic settlement. The picnic area has disabled access toilets, barbeques and picnic shelters and a timber boardwalk located along the banks of the MacKenzie River. It is suitable for wheelchairs and provides a great opportunity to observe Grampians wildlife.
Hamilton Botanic Garden
The Hamilton Botanic Gardens has a lot of heritage significance and includes an impressive display of 19th century trees, cati, succulents and colourful plants. The botanic garden also has an ornamental lake and a caretakers cottage dating from the 1870s.
