This Saturday marks the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Pacific Day. This significant anniversary will be commemorated in an online presentation organised by RSL Victoria.

The VP Day presentation will follow a similar format to the ANZAC Day 2020 Dawn service, and be broadcast on RSL Victoria's Facebook page. The commemorative presentation will feature a focus on the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII and acknowledging and thanking WWII veterans.

WAMA is hosting a virtual science expo for people within the region to share their science experiments from home. The Biggest Science Experiment Expo will feature a variety of projects from individuals, organisations and schools within the region as part of National Science Week, August 15-23 2020.

Visitors to the expo will also be able to watch video presentations from local and specialist scientists including Professor Jeremy Mould, who is the keynote exhibitor and lead Astrophysicist working on the Stawell Underground Physics Laboratory.

This Saturday Soul Stitches Sewing Classes will be hosting a free online class, teaching people how to make a toiletry or make-up bag. Viewers will receive tips and advice on the best construction and recycling techniques.
