Set up in their wheelchairs behind a rope and orange flag barrier, the clients of Rural Northwest Health's Warracknabeal and Hopetoun residental aged care facilities waved as people drove past.
The visitors bequeathed teddy bears and messages of support as they went.
Carley Tong, RNH leisure and lifestyle team leader was the main organiser of the event after seeing the success of the Boort District Health initiative earlier this month.
"As a first time event I feel it was very successful, the residents absolutely loved it however if we run another one we will look to reduce the duration down to half an hour to get the most enjoyment for our residents" she said.

Wendy James, RNH Director of Clinical Services, said it was fantastic to see the smiles on the faces of the residents who participated.
"Due to visitor restrictions our residents have not seen many people for quite some time. Saturday gave them the opportunity to get out of the facility, see a range of people and enjoy something different," she said.
Many community members did multiple laps.
