Jake Lloyd has credited his family with helping him strive at the highest level and win a second Bob Skilton medal, as the Sydney Swans Club Champion.
The former Horsham Demon played in all 17 games for the Swans this season, finishing first in total kicks across the competition, second in rebound 50s and third in the league for total disposals.
The 27-year-old finished on 421 votes at Thursday night's count, 64 ahead of co-captain Luke Parker.
Lloyd said he was grateful for the foundations his family had provided him, in particular his father, who helped him train during the COVID-19 shutdown.
"My family means everything to me and they're my number one supporters every week," he said.
"I know this year, especially, it has been extremely difficult for a lot of families and a lot of people in Victoria. But the support they have shown me over the years, and what Dad did over the break to allow me to come back in peak fitness and really give this season a shake up, is something I'm extremely grateful for."
Lloyd joined the Swans through the 2013 rookie draft, and became the quickest Swan in club history to play 100 AFL games.
The dynamic defender won his first Bob Skilton Medal in 2018, after finishing second in the vote count in 2017.

Lloyd said he was honoured by the accolade.
"It means a lot," he said. "It's something I pride myself on - my consistency - and it's incredible to think that I have been standing up here a couple of times now.
"I'm forever grateful to the Sydney Swans for giving me the opportunity at the end of 2012 and I just wanted to make the most of it."
