
The new Yarriambiack Shire Council for the 2020-24 term were announced by the Victorian Electoral Commission on Monday night.
VEC announced Chris Lehmann and Andrew Robert McLean as successful candidates for the Hopetoun Ward. Mr Lehmann had 43.23 per cent of the first preference vote.
Graeme Massey, Kylie Zanker and Karly Kirk were successful candidates for the Warracknabeal Ward. Mr Massey received 54.38 per cent of the first preference vote.
Corinne Heintze and Tom Hamilton were elected for the Dunmunkle Ward.
For the Dunmunkle Ward, the number of candidates that had nominated for the election was the same as the number of vacancies.
Therefore, the election was uncontested and the candidates will be declared elected unopposed.
