
Anglers in Wimmera are dusting off their rods as more golden tagged fish have been released into the waters across the Wimmera.
The Victorian Fisheries Authority announcement on Thursday that one fish in Lake Charlegrak or Taylors Lake could be worth up to $10,000.
Lucky anglers who catch a tagged fish will not know how much the fish is worth until they present their find to the Victorian Fisheries Authority.

The golden tag program is an initiative by the Victorian Fisheries Authority to encourage anglers and tourists out to regional Victoria.
This year's incarnation of the program aimed to attract visitors to bushfire affected regions of the state to support local tourism industries.
There's still more than 900 tagged fish swimming in Victoria's waterways, including a tagged golden perch released into the Wimmera river.
