
Kaniva Kindergarten will receive $123,867 in funding from the Victorian government as part of the Building Blocks grant program for early childhood providers.
West Wimmera Shire Council Kindergarten Director Gracie Elliot said the funding will go towards improved kindergarten facilities.
"We were very excited to discover our application for the Indoor Upgrade Inclusion grant had been approved," she said.
"The money will go towards a bathroom upgrade which will include the addition of an all abilities toilet with wheelchair access and a few other room alterations that will cater to all children."

"Our parent advisory group will also be donating funds towards the project. We are very lucky to live in a community that values their kinder and are more than happy to contribute to fundraising efforts to allow projects like this to happen."
Kaniva Kindergarten is one of 127 grant recipients to share in the $46.9 million Building Blocks building and improvement grant streams.
The Building Blocks program provides funding towards building and improving inclusive early learning facilities.
The Victorian Budget for 2020-21 will see a further $38.5 million invested into the program.
Applications are open for the next round of funding, including major works grants of up to $500,000 and minor works of up to $50,000.
