EARLIER: A man has died following a collision between a truck and car near Horsham overnight.
Police have been told the collision occurred on the Western Highway, just south of Drung South Road, about 12.40am.
The male driver of the car was provided medical care however sadly died while en-route to hospital.
The truck driver wasn't injured.

The Western Highway is closed in both directions between Dadswells Bridge and Horsham.
Motorists should use Stawell-Warracknabeal Rd (B210), Wimmera Hwy (B240) and Henty Hwy (B200) to avoid the closure.
The closure is under the control of Victoria Police. The Western Highway will open when investigations are complete and it's safe to do so.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
