FOREST Fire Management Victoria has announced planned burns to be carried out on Tuesday, January 19, in an area nearby Dimboola - Lochiel rest stop.

The burns will start on January 19 and end on January 26.
Smoke from the burn may be visible from Lochiel rest stop.
The Department of Health and Human Services advises anyone experiencing symptoms of smoke exposure to seek medical advice or contact Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024.

Road travel may be hazardous due to low visibility associated with smoke. Anyone travelling through the area at the time of the burn is advised to obey all traffic signs and instructions from fire agency crews near the burn.
