HORSHAM SES received two minor call outs last night as a deepening low pressure trough brought heavy rainfall over Western Victoria.

The heavy rainfall led to flash flooding in some areas, but emergency services said Horsham and it's surrounds were spared the worst of the storm.
VicEmergency have issued a severe weather warning for the Wimmera, Mallee, South West, and Central districts.

While Horsham only received just 14.2mm of rainfall in the 24 hours before 9am, Stawell recorded 52.8mm, Navarre recorded 53.6mm, and Ballarat recorded 34mm.
Victorian emergency services have advised that people should be aware of rainfall runoff containing debris, especially in fire affected areas.
Loose items such as outdoor settings, trampolines and umbrellas should be safely secured and vehicles moved away from trees.
