The association has not competed since March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic plunged all sport into a long, uncertain hiatus.
Now, with the state government giving the green light to indoor sport to resume and the Wimmera's sporting scene headed out of hibernation, volleyball is back on the agenda.

Volleyball Horsham is calling for entries for its domestic competition - pencilled in for a February 22 start for C women's/girl's and junior grades and February 24 for A and B grades.
"If the enquiry level translates into participation, we're going to be looking alright," Volleyball Horsham vice president Vaughn Maroske said.
"We choose to give ourselves a little bit more time to get started compared to most sports, as that time gives the schools a better chance of encouraging participation from students and teachers, which is where we draw a greater percentage of our members from."
Maroske encouraged anyone interested to give the sport a crack.
"Our greatest point of difference, especially for the younger members, is that they can get a group of friends together and play as a team," she said.
"Also, we cater for mixed teams in all grades without restrictions, which is great for friendship groups as well.
"As an association we're excited for the year ahead, especially being a country championships hosting year."
The association has five grades of competition ranging from A grade for serious competitors to B, C, women/girls and juniors for those just wanting to be involved with the sport again.
Maroske encouraged teams or individuals interested in participating to complete a registration form on the association's website and forward it to info@volleyballhorsham.com.au.
