The Rasmussen captain is Charlotte Elbourne and vice captain is Duncan Fraser.
Adele said speaking at assembly was one of her biggest concerns, Rasmussen captain Charlotte agreed.
"It's nerve wracking, I don't want to pronounce someone's name wrong," Charlotte said.
At assembly, school captains present student of the week and announce house points.
"We announce which class receives the five cent Friday trophy," Jasper said.
Five cent Friday is the school's fundraiser for Relay for Life.
Henry said he was equally nervous and excited for the role.
"We're role models," he said.
"We can have such a say in what our school does and impact behaviour."
Jasper said he wanted his final year to signify something.
"I wanted to do something for my last year, something not everyone could do," he said.
Pippa said she was eager to do something different before entering high school next year.
"It's exciting to have this responsibility," she said.
At Ss Michael and Johns Primary School, the school is being led by school captains Sienna Manserra and Riley O'Loughlin and vice captains Charley Ward and Liam Carracher.
Sienna said she ran for school captain to be a more supportive student to others.
"I like to help out others and I wanted to improve my public speaking," she said.
Riley said he enjoys the aspect of speaking at school assembly.
"I also wanted to make a change to the school," he said.
Riley said he thinks the biggest challenge for this year is keeping up with school work after last years lock down.
"We'll do a lot more work than last year because we had absolutely no time at school," he said.
"But we'll get through it."
Sienna said they will be there to make sure their fellow students are doing okay.
Vice captain Charley said being a school captain might help her move forward with her career goal of a surgeon or a teacher.
"I really wanted to be a captain because I have a really big heart for being a leader and showing others how they can be leaders too. I want to help others to be the best they can be," she said.
"Being a leader to me is showing responsibility and being the best you can for people."
Liam ran to be a role model for his fellow students.
"I want to make a difference to the school," he said.
Charley said she wants to make sure students feel safe at school.
"I want to help kids feel like they are in a safe environment and are motivated to go to school everyday," she said.
