Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives and members of the Heavy Vehicle Criminal Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses to a fatal truck collision at Serviceton in the early hours of Thursday morning.

It is believed a B Double truck crashed into the rear of a stationary B Double truck around 2:20 am.
The stationary truck then collided with a B Double truck in front of it.

All three trucks then caught on fire.
A 46-year-old man from Parafield Gardens, South Australia, who was driving the first truck died at the scene.
The driver of the second truck, a 27-year-old man from Langford, Western Australia, and his passenger, a 63-year-old man from Carey Park, Western Australia, were taken to hospital and have since been released.
The driver of the third truck, a 50-year-old man from Melton, Victoria, was uninjured.
Investigators are still determining the exact cause of the collision.

Road diversions are expected to take place across the weekend.
Vehicles headed towards Serviceton from Melbourne are encouraged to divert down the Wimmera Highway from Horsham.
