This comes after South Australia Police released an updated Cross Border Travel Direction on Monday night.
Restrictions surrounding cross border travel between the two states have been relaxed, with Victorians able to enter the state if they are from a Low Community Transmission Zone.
Cross border community resident and farmer Jason Law said the news came as a welcome relief.
"It is a big relief to know that testing is not required, but I guess what is sticking with us the whole way through this has been the poor communication. It should have never been a problem," he said.
"It obviously was some form of an oversight, because it was rescinded very quickly within a couple of days of the snap lockdown in Victorian happening.
"It is really disappointing, it creates so much angst and so much tension for something that is obviously not required. They have rescinded it in two days."
Mr Law was one of the founders of the 'Cross Border Call Outs' Facebook page, which aimed to keep cross border residents informed about border closures affecting their community.

Since the commencement of Victoria's snap five-day lockdown, Cross Border Call Outs has advocated for changes to the mandatory testing requirements for cross border travel.
Mr Law said the lack of clear communication about border travel rules was a big source of anxiety for the cross border community.
"The big thing which has been the whole way along is clear and concise communication. We need to get clear and accurate communication out there immediately," he said.
"For a situation that has been happening for the past 12 months, every time something like this comes up they seem to re-write the book.
"We just consistently find ourselves in this position, three, four, five days after an announcement we are still chasing detail."
