Belinda Jenkins first joined the cast for the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2019 and cannot wait to bring the show out to regional areas.
"I saw the audition brief for the show and thought 'wow, that's a show', she said.
"I was thinking I wouldn't do it, I'm not going to do it but then I read for one of the characters Carol who is a timid woman and she is one of the book club ladies. She doesn't really come out of her shell until she starts reading the book.

"I thought this was a cool character I could play a bit quirky."
Ms Jenkins said the musical is a whole lot of fun but be warned it can get a bit naughty.
"There is a lot in this show," she said.
"If you've read the book you might have an idea what the subject matter might be. It's a little bit raunchy and risky but also very funny.
"The songs are super catchy. Great catchy tunes with a lot of original music.
"There are going to be men that are shirtless."
Ms Jenkins said the audience can get quite into the show.
"It's so great to have a general public audience, because they are quite vocal. They come along for the ride of the show," she said.

"You never know what kind of crowd this show will bring."
The show can be a bit side splitting even for the cast.
"There are certain props used that you wouldn't normally have on the stage," Ms Jenkins warned.
"There is a lot of space to play with the characters with the show running for as long as it has.
"The cast are really talented, their ability of singing and dancing is just great.
"But it's really hard not to laugh on stage."
Her favourite part of the show is a very risque moment.
"You probably won't be able to write it," Ms Jenkins said.
"My character really lets it rip.
"It's just the shock of the audience from this sexual awakening."
Audiences need to strap in for this show and Ms Jenkins said the best audience response is when they are vocal.
"The audience members get really into it," she said.
"People yelling out 'go Carol', it's full on power to the people."
50 Shades the Musical Parody is the perfect form of escapism.
"It's escapism for the audience," Ms Jenkins said.
"Whether it's relatable or the opposite and can't believe what they're seeing on the stage."
Ms Jenkins said you do not need to have read the book to see the show.
"It's for people who want to have a good laugh," she said.
50 Shades the Musical Parody will be at Horsham Town Hall on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1.
