THE Horsham community came together for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service held at the War Memorial and Cenotaph at Sawyer Park on Sunday.

The Dawn Service saw hundreds of Horsham residents pay their respects in person and commemorate the fallen soldiers.
Horsham RSL vice president Bob Lockwood hosted the ceremony.

The HMAS Horsham Bell was rung by Baz Rompa and was rung five times.
The Salvation Army's Captain Chris Sutton lead the crowd in the Lord's Prayer.
Horsham council Mayor Robyn Gulline said it was a powerful sight to see so many people out to honour the ANZAC's after having to cancel last years event.
Cr Gulline gave Acknowledgment of Country.
Horsham RSL President Don Priouet lead the reading of the ANZAC Requiem. .
Names of Horsham returned members were also read out and the Horsham bell was tolled after each name.
The Lighting of the Torch was lead by Ray Buckley and given to Rex Dumesny and passed west to eat to serviceman Private Gerard Emmett.
Wreaths were laid by member for Lowan Emma Kealy, members of council, members of service clubs and by the school captains of the Horsham primary schools and secondary colleges.
The Catafalgue party presented arms during the Ode presented by RSL president Don Pirouet.
This was followed by the Last Post played by Jo Ellis and a minutes silence.
The New Zealand and Australian national anthems were sung by Grace Risson accompanied by the Horsham Rural City Band.
The service was concluded with six bell tolls of the HMAS Horsham Bell.
