Paul McDonald, 39, of Horsham pleaded guilty to two charges of unlicensed driving and failing to obey a stop sign via video-link at Horsham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
On September 7, 2020, police observed McDonald driving on Pynsent Street about 10pm.
McDonald attempted to evade police; however, he pulled over a short time later.
He told officers he did not hold a driver's licence and made a "silly choice".

On September 10, McDonald was spotted by police driving south on Kalkee Road towards Albert Street.
McDonald was travelling fast down Albert Street and ran a red light at the Albert and Lynott Streets intersection.
He exited the vehicle with two other occupants, who hurriedly walked to the front yard of a nearby house.
Police yelled at the group to stop, with McDonald the only occupant apprehended by police. He told the officers he was not driving the car; however, police found the keys to the white commodore under a nearby house's planter box.
McDonald told Magistrate Tim Walsh that since the incident he had acquired his learners permit.
Mr Walsh fined Mcdonald $600, but did not impose any penalties on his licence.
