Linc lost his battle with brain cancer while on a family holiday in Queensland in July last year.
Lincs’s mum Brooke Holland said the family wanted to remember Linc by travelling to the state where he passed away.
“We were up in Queensland last year and had organised to meet Batman, who was Linc’s favourite superhero,” she said.
“However, he passed away before that could happen. So this year my sister organised for us to go up to Queensland and travel to Toowoomba to meet Batman.
“We had a great day; he took us all on a ride in the Batmobile. We then stopped off at the resort where we stayed last year when he passed away.
“It was quite an overwhelming day at times, especially for the girls (Linc’s sisters Imogen and Mahlie), but it was a lovely way to celebrate and commemorate Linc’s life as a family.”

Ms Holland said she was holding a second Superhero Day to raise money for charity.
“Half the money raised will go to brain cancer research, and the other half will go to the Elli Martha Fund in Warracknabeal,” she said.
“We went ahead with the event last year, as he passed away before it happened. We’re hoping people dress up as superheroes to support us; there will be rides, food and an auction.”
The event will be held on October 27 at Warracknabeal Racecourse.
Linc’s family friends Rikki Nitschke and Elysia Preston, along with their respective children Ryder, Macie and Karter Nitschke, and Ella, Zac and Tyler Preston, also travelled to Queensalnd to commemorate Linc’s life.
Ms Nitschke said group participated in marathons dressed in Batman t-shirts to honour Linc.
“Elysia and I like to do a marathon every year and when Linc was first diagnosed in 2017 we wanted to do one in his honour,” she said.
“We weren’t able to do it before he passed away, so we’re so happy we were able to do it in his honour on the weekend.
“I ran the 42km, and Elysia ran the half marathon; the kids did the junior dash.”
